I was in Tokyo this week and just had to get some watch shopping in. Checked out a few stores in Ginza and Shibuya, but most shops were stocking the usual big brands (rolex, omega, GS, etc) which were not interesting to me.

At Nakano Broadway, at the final shop before heading out, I came across this vintage 1970s AP 4942 in great condition. Beautiful braided case edges, with a nice sparkly dial under the right lighting.

Et voila.
