TBT to fixing sprinklers with Ol’ Reliable

A classic that I refuse to clean since 2017. I feel like every deep scratch, muddy splatter, and sunscreen glob is a memory not worth washing away. Plus it’s probably my only G that I “want” to beat up, if that makes sense?

Out of all my watches, this one is the easiest to wear, throw on and forget. I’ve been using NATO adapters for the life of the watch so far, and recently switched to paratrooper style straps. Makes it even harder to notice on the wrist.

This picture was back in March, just before the TX heat. My main pressure value failed me while testing the system out for the hot summer months. Was a pain to fix, but at least my 5600 was there to tell me how long it took!

(First post, let me know if I’m doing anything wrong. This app looks really cool tho.)

Watches in situ with purpose. I love these kind of shots.

Good post. Here's my cautionary tail from a week ago.

I need a G Shock. This is what happens when you don't have one. I'm remodeling the master bath. I was finishing grouting the shower and I accidentally tried grouting my watch instead. The watch is fine but learned a lesson I already knew. Don't wear watches when I'm remodeling.

Thank you! It will be when it's done. We're waiting for the heavy glass enclosure to finish the shower. I can't wait. The master suite is the last room of the whole house addition and remodel. Everything is new. Well kinda it's taken a few years. 😂
