A piece of art
Today is your lucky day - two posts from me! 😂
This time I have something special to share. My father in law is an avid craftsman when it comes to building models of ships, planes, etc. All pieces are hand made, with common and self designed tools. Only the raw materials are purchased and then the fun begins. Now I would never have the patience nor the skills to pull this off, so when he decided to try his ingenuity on a clock, I told him, I'd hang it on my wall.
That's where this beauty is hanging now. Fully functional, not for exact time keeping but within acceptable limits, and entirely made of wood. Okay, the weight is filled with sand and is made of plastic. 🙄

No. Funny enough, he's an electronic engineer for Siemens! 😂
Always awesome when someone is creative. My kids picked this up because I love cycling.
