Can anyone help me identify this Gruen quartz world timer โŒš?

All that I remember is that I received it either in the late eighties or very early nineties.

I am travelling and do not have it in hand.

It was a gift from my late Mother, and I would like to refurbish it.

Any help is appreciated.

Thank you.

I know it is not the original Gruen company, so this would be a product from a holding company who owned the rights to the brand long after the original firm ceased operations.

I see.

Thank you.

I wonder if I can even get the battery ๐Ÿ”‹ changed and hope that it can still run.

It is not a pearl, but it has its value for me.

Should, in theory, be an easy battery change for a watch repair shop. Would not take to any old mall shop; but a regular watch shop should be able to get that watch back up and running for you. ๐Ÿ˜

Let us know when it's back up and running! Hope you get to enjoy it soonest!!
