At the Delta Skylounge with an unwound Patek. My preferred use of the travel time is to set the home time to EST, then jump the travel button back to MST. This way the timezone I’m in is shown with the solid hands, and the skeleton hand shows me my grandmama’s home time. It’s a silent way that I kept her on my mind. Close to my heart. Today, I will wind this watch, set my travel time to EST, then jump back the hand so the skeleton shows me the time at home, where my family is, while I clean out grandmama’s house. I’m not ready for this. And I can’t bring myself to wind it and set it.
