ESPRIT Chronograph / stainless steel 805 - ALL

This watch has an interesting story. It is made entirely of stainless steel, the quatratic housing has the dimensions of 4.25mm x 3.55mm with a thickness of just 10.50mm and a bracelet with 25mm width. This makes it very massive and robust. The dial of the chronograph is brown metalic, has three square totalists and on the right on the four a small date display. The chronograph is driven by a Miyota FS 01 quartzwerk.

This watch was given to me in 2007 by my girlfriend for my birthday. Back then I liked to wore her, especially because I saw no clock anywhere. Even today, these watches are only very rare, even if the existing watches are very cheap.

Again and again I wondered what the name "805-All" meant ... where it came from. Since there is nowhere to find technical reports or the like about the clock, research is quite difficult. One possibility would be that the clock is made of 805 precise steel. This material is an austenitic stainless steel with 17% chrome and 8% nickel according to DIN 1,4301. It is not magnetic and has the highest wear and chemical resistance. I am not yet sure about my hypothesis, but I have not been able to investigate other information in the past 16 years ... but I will continue to research 😉

I'd be looking into the 5372 at bottom of dial.

Odd that your photos don't show this 805 reference, but this one on ebay does
