Watches I've sold from my early days of collecting

When I was in my late teens / early 20s, I started paying attention to fashion watch trends and of course the Swatch phenom plus being a tech geek I bought my fair share of cheap disposable digital watches - I may have even owned some classic Casio's that are still popular today but I don't honestly remember them since they are long gone.

A couple of years ago, I sold a lot on eBay of some old fashion watches and I thought I'd share the pictures with you all and get your thoughts on which, if any I should have kept. My only real regret was selling the late 70s Timex digital watch for retro coolness points and possibly the Giordano because it was kind of unique.

Here's the run down going left to right with a bit of background:

Timex  SSQ Digital - original leather strap, I still remember my dad buying it for me at a local variety store when I was maybe 12 years old. Basic time and date function.

The Cardinal watch brand was my first "dress" watch I bought when I started working in an office and thought I needed something dressier than the watches I wore in my teens. Cardinal watches were a Canadian brand but the watches were made in Soviet factories from the 60s through the 90s.

Ferrari watch - cheap Chinese piece of crap - don't ask, it was a phase. Felt stupid wearing it.

Boy London was huge back in the 80s and 90s. Kind of like Fossil - tons of watches produced with cool and crazy designs.  They turned heads - maybe not for the right reasons but I enjoyed them.

Nike watch - no details about it that I remember. Nike was all the rage at the time thanks to Michael Jordan so.........

Royale Pantera - Some store giveaway with purchase. Chinese crap.

Casio Data Bank - It scratched that geeky itch I had but was a pain to use in real life with that tiny touchscreen and my monster fingers.

Giordano - don't know much about the brand but I remember buying it in a shop in California. The center minute dial caught my eye and thought it was pretty cool. Wore it for years.

Finally one of the original Swatch watches from the first few years they came out complete with a Swatch guard. Still ran well when I sold it but the band was cracked underneath and the crown was eroding away - weird.

I don't recall what the lot sold for but I remember being a bit disappointed at the time but understand now why they weren't worth very much. Anyhow, thought I'd share. Sorry for the long winded post. Let me know your thoughts and share any watches you regret selling.
