I posted an article from Primer Magazine recently that discussed all the different types of watch straps and their origins. Came across this other equally interesting article that serves as nice intro for new collectors on "Best" (I know, it's subjective) Watch Brands by price level. Interesting choices and the pictures are pretty nice.

They left out Casio but put in Fossil? Casio is a top seller thru a bunch of those price points. Fossil?......really?
Interesting article - as I mentioned on another post I do think there is some blurring of lines on the so called hierarchy of watches at the moment.
