History of things we love

During my London trip, one of the must do's in my list was to visit the Clockmakers Museum. The overall experience was really good and at the end I was left seeking more. To understand the history of all these timepieces was just amazing. There were clocks from 16th century still sweeping! I was astonished.

One thing that really caught my attention was how the watches from the past all had roman numerals and such beautiful designs! The intricate work on the dials was marvellous. Wrist watches were few but there was a plethora of pocket watches mostly with white dials, roman numerals and breguet hands. No wonder this is an ageless design.

At the end of it, I could really understand and appreciate mechanical watches more.

Ultimately, i think it's a must visit for any watch lover visiting London.
