Tried a Diver this time!

This watch has a quartz movement with a built in barometer up to 200 mt( that is the WR of the watch) and has the possibility to turn on and off the loom with the large botton above the crown, to see even in the darkest water !

It is kinda weird to me how divers usually don't have a barometer, I get it that they are not produced to actually dive but to appeal to the mass audience, but it would be cool!

Anyway, what do you think of the design?

It’s a cool design. What does it look like with the bezel markers?

Think I should add some ? 🤔 I do like the clean look but I'll give it a try :) thanks

Well, a diving bezel would help with diving. Here’s a picture of my Mako with minimal markings

Make it orange, so it looks like an orange 🍊

This barometer is 25 years old.

Probably the biggest reasons dive watches don't have depth guage are:

1. Cost

2. Water ingress

To have something on the outside of the watch that can measure water pressure and use that to move a subdial inside the watch would be tricky to do and give more points where a seal can fail. I do like the idea though! I know the newest, most expensive Apple watch can do this, but it's just an electrical signal to a digital screen. I guess with this being a quartz watch, you could do something similar. Pressure sensor on the outside sending a signal to a motor that moves a hand on the dial. That would be much easier than a purely mechanical setup, I would think.

Gotta have a dive time bezel on a dive watch, my dude! Or a pasta timing bezel, or whatever you want to time. Like Jory and his pizza rolls.

You're right mate, I'll add it right up :) thank you

The semi-recessed lugs make everything look sort of squat. I think the minutes hand should be a bit longer. The asymmetry between the crown and pusher is unsettling. As mentioned above, a barometer is typically open to the atmosphere and rather at odds with a sealed device.

Hei! Thanks for all the suggestions, I'll think about them in future designs :)
