opinion on Jacques Lemans watches
I have spotted on a local online marketplace a guy selling his Jacques Lemans watch for cheap and I got intrigued. However I am not aquainted by this watch brand so I wanted to ask you guys if you have any experience with their watches.
i also couldn't find any specs on the model in question (which is the number 1-1283). So finding that could be helpful as well.

Well, it's an independent Austrian brand, it's very well known here in my country and they have interesting models, designs and movements. In my opinion the problem is that influencers and media in the watch field are stuck on the traditional brands and don't pay attention to others that are also interesting and of good quality. If they would open the eyes and broad their mind they'd find a whole new world out there. And there is JL among other brands.
