First, i am a fan of Citizen watches for their aesthetics and innovation. I was not aware of this model until I saw it on a Watch Crunches WRUW. I posted a quick question about the price of the black Washi paper dial.
The post received mixed reactions relative to the price of the watch with some pointing out that other brands with similar dials are priced higher than this particular model. Others thought that the name Citizen was a brand that has always been relatively inexpensive and should remain this way.
The dials are exquisite and definitely worth the price.

Beautiful.
Everyone is trying to go upmarket now. £3.5k for a watch like this is a bridge too far.
I think I’ll stick with the vintage Eagle 7

This looks great! Boy, Citizen is sure trying to offer competition in entry-level luxury watches.
