1918 Waltham Cadet Trench Watch. This gorgeous Waltham is a rare Cadet model from WWI with the very desirable larger 19mm lugs (vs. 13mm). These cases have a unique engine turned 14k gold case back that was utilized to reduce heat transfer from the wearer to the movement in order to allow the movement to run more accurately. Most of these case backs were melted down for scrap, destroying these amazing historical timepieces. Glad this one's still around and running beautifully!

Beautiful restoration ! I also really appreciate the restorative lume work you do. I assume that’s all the luminova (or strontium aluminate) variety?

Appreciate the kind words! I use a binder, pigment, and tint from watchlume.com I've had really good success with their binder. It's one of the few binders that allow the pigment to glow really well but also hardens up enough to be shaped.
