This is the most affordable seiko I own, and while the fit and finish is noticeably less premium than the higher priced ones, it is a really fun piece to wear and just as enjoyable as the grand seiko that I have in my collection. I’m sure you will not regret the purchase, it is an icon in its own right.

It’s a shame it and its sibling are LEs. I can’t wait for the US-exclusive ones to proliferate online. It’s kinda boring seeing the SSK001 over and over.

I would say the ssk021 would be my pick out of the US edition pieces, and yes less common than the first 3 original variants introduced

Two-tone often doesn’t do it for me, so I like SSK019 and SSK017, in order of preference.
