Patron En Lalique on a Patron Burdeos Anejo budget

During the recent microbrand competition, another member mentioned Havaan Tuvali. I had never heard of them.

So, of course I had to check them out. I was really excited to learn more about them. The company is ran by a one man show. I like this as my business is a one man show.

Eric; the owner, makes these watches from NOS parts, except for the dial. This is his second Cigar Leaf Dial watch, his first series was limited to 30 units. This one he was able to source a little more pieces and is limited to 68.

It's running on a vintage Swiss A. Schild AS1537 movement. The case is 37mm and is 41mm LtL. At 7mm thin it's one of the thinnest mechanical watches I own. Surprisingly, the crystal is Sapphire. I'm not sure if he found the cases with the crystal or if he had it custom made for it.

And speaking of custom made. The strap you see in the picture is a NOS leather strap. But, he made this custom microfiber strap with a deployment clasp and included it with the purchase.

He also made this custom hand made watch case. The watch, extra strap and warranty card were wrapped up in the case for shipping.

I couldn't be happier with my purchase from them. In fact, I'm thinking about picking up one of his Duodecimal in Glacier Blue. If I get one of those, I'm going to have him make the dial with Chinese characters for the numbers.

Anyways, thanks for reading my post.
