Victorinox Officer’s Field Watch

A watch that was slept on and under the radar. I picked this up new for 250 dollars which was a ton of value. Swiss ETA 2824 (top grade?) high beat movement, signed crown and rotor, applied indices, framed date window, swiss made integrated rubber strap, sapphire crystal and see through case back.

40mm, 48mm lug to lug and around 10mm height. Wears very thin and flat on wrist with good legibility; the white second hand is a nice touch against the black dial. Lume is a bit weak but not a show stopper on this watch. Solid finishing with mainly brushed finishes and the polished bezel.

It was only sold for a few years before being discontinued. Shame as they were on to something interesting here…
