I am fun of the sauna as well as watches! I used to have my Certina PH200M with me in every sauna and I love to measure all of my sessions with it. I never felt any heat from the wrist or any other discomfort. What do you think about wearing any watch in a Finnish sauna and what should be the proper durability specifications? Best m

I wear ally watches in the sauna from Rolex to bell and ross
I don’t know the answer, but I would do 100m with a screw down crown.
Good question. I would even ad one more:
Does anyone ever had experience with Ceramic watches (e.g. Rado) in sauna?
From the #certina DS User Manual:
I imagine wearing a watch into the plunge pool straight after the sauna may not be a good idea... but otherwise, as long as there are no sudden changes, say from outside in the cold winter Helsinki air into a 40ºC sauna, most watches should be fine in terms of being able to withstand the temp in the sauna. Whether you are able to avoid condensation is a different matter.

I can’t imagine mistreating any lovely timepiece by subjecting it to the abuse of a sauna followed by a cold pool or shower.I don’t need a watch to tell me when I’ve had enough!!But to each his own…I guess
