I have been a Breitling fan since the late 80s always bought Chronomats or Navitimers until one casual afternoon years and years ago, a young lady was offering complimentary Nespresso coffees at some high end kitchen goods boutique, my watch enthusiast friend wanted a free coffee and to chat up the young woman working for Nespresso. I was more interested in her older generation Super Ocean Heritage watch which was fitted with a black dial and same mesh bracelet. After a few strong espressos I learned that her watch was purchased from the same Breitling agent that I knew socially. I am a Chronograph guy so I called my friend to arrange purchase of a 46mm SO chrono on a rubber strap with the ratcheting clasp. 10 years later it is still a favourite but both my nephew and my younger daughter have requested future ownership. The watch is gently worn, recently fully serviced probably going to be an October gift to my daughter after she delivers her first baby girl. My nephew can pick from one of my Chronomats, daughters come first.

Such an incredible watch to consider it an heirloom. Nothing else like it. Thanks for sharing!

I fell in love with the SO as soon as I laid eyes on it...
Great watch especially on that strap.
