Bought a year ago and worn twice. I love it, I'm lucky to have it but.. I'm finding it hard to gel with it. Maybe it's the strap?

I know what you are feeling! I have a sugess chronograph that I love to look at,but rarely wear as it doesn't hit the button when on the wrist
Maybe it is you? It is one thing to admire a watch from afar, and another to embrace it as part of your personal expression.
I think it’s a cool watch and I appreciate it but I noticed when I get bright or colourful watches I tend to wear them a lot less than more “classic” looks. Not sure why, maybe I get bored quicker with them once novelty wears off!
Looks great. To your point you might consider a new strap. If this is the way you normally feel about colorful dials you may want to stay away from them and stick to what you love; at least you tried it...
The watch is nice and looks good on wrist but indeed not gelling is a problem one can face at times. A new strap can make a watch different, so go ahead with that!
