I've never seen a Boldr in the metal but this looks very nice. How has your experience been with the brand?

Very happy with the watch. It's very straightforward and unpretentious. The case is small and extremely light, the crown is tactile and very functional. All great things on a field watch. I've been tempted by another Boldr several times.. The only downsides are the uncoated case, so it will scratch - or show evidence of adventures, and the date window is a little small.

That's great, thanks very much. I'll have a look at the Venture more closely then. I have been looking at the Expedition 1 but thought it may be too big. This Venture sounds like it might be a better option.

I don't mind the scratches or the small date window actually. I prefer no date options where I can find them

The numbers are cool on this one too.
