If you’ve never tried a nice shell cordovan strap on your watch, you are really missing out. These are 15+ years old and they get better with age. I save these for the winter time. They are super comfortable and give your watch an amazing look.

Likewise I can heartily recommend eating horse - if you’ve never tried it you’re really missing out!

Anglophone countries are strangely squeamish about eating horses compared to other animals, though they slaughter and process plenty of horses each year.

So next time you’re in Belgium or France, seek out the “chevaline”.
