Traska Summiteer 38 been hoggin’ that wrist time

This watch has been hogging wrist time since it arrived less than three weeks ago. It’s pretty much my automatic pick when getting ready to start the day and mainly for the following reasons:

  1. It’s just so unbelievably comfortable. The stainless steel coating on the bracelet gives it a really luxurious and smooth feeling, no sharpness or irritation at all. And the way the links articulate means it just wraps perfectly around the wrist.

  2. The whole watch has this extra powerful scratch resistance that gives me peace of mind to wear it for any activities that I might do.

  3. It looks so clean and has a definite Rolex Explorer vibe about it, which I very much enjoy.

  4. The build quality and finish are fantastic for a watch at this price. I know some people have mentioned QC issues on the hands but I don’t have any issues with mine.

  5. The watch is the most legible in my collection. Bright white hands and dark blue dial, together with a fantastic domed sapphire crystal, even passersby are able to check the time at a glance!

I’m seriously tempted to get another Traska now. Possibly the Commuter 38 on a white dial. Do you agree with any of my points?

Spot on and agree with all you said as a fellow 38mm Traska owner. It's a super easy grap and go anywhere, do anything watch. Anti-Scratch is the best I have experienced, bracelet is luxury grade, and fits/wears so well on wrist.

I think the Commuter is a great option.

Hope your Summiteer continues to get plenty of wrist time and bringing joy/satisfaction. Superb watch!

Agreed! I’m always excited to see a Traska and now the new bracelets have on the fly adjustment! Makes me want to buy a Commuter.

Thanks for the comment Salty1. Nice to hear from others who are loving what Traska are doing

If I ever replace my Tisell Explorer, it will be a Traska. Perhaps Commuter date, 36 or 38.

How's the lume on the watch? It's on my short list for a time only watch! Something I can wear for a while and then give my son when he's older to wear. Also do you track the daily deviation for time on it? Always curious if they are regulated

The lume is amazing in my opinion. The indices are solid blocks of lume and the hands are filled up very well the the same stuff! In regard to deviation it’s gaining about 10 seconds a day which is within spec for that movement. I’m really happy with it and also with the company who have just developed and offered an updated clasp with quick adjustment to existing owners of compatible watches and it’s only $50! They have fantastic customer care.

Dude that is exactly what I like to hear! The photo is compelling :)

After I saw the vertex m100a followed by the Tudor black bay pro, I knew I had to have a watch with solid lume indices. This just seems meant to be now!

Ps I'll take gaining 10s over losing 10 seconds 8 days a week.
