The Alpina Startimer Pilot Automatic is one of my favorite takes on the pilot. I usually wear it on a strap (it's a strap monster) but I decided to give its stock bracelet some use today.

Yeah. It's a 44mm big boy. I have an 8.5" wrist so I can pull it off but even for me it's reaching the limits 😂.
This is actually the older case for this model. They redesigned it last year on a smaller case (41mm) which is much more manageable.

Agreed. I wish they would've stayed along the same design principal but it seems Alpina changed their language for the new Startimer line. It's more accessible but also less unique. The cool thing about this watch is how ridiculously easy to read it is and the proportion of the numerals has a lot to do with that.
