Being an engineer (and former mechanic), I absolutely LOVED the experience. Some coffee, some nice music, my workbench, and excellent instructions via their website made for an experience I won't forget.
Can you get similarly specc-ed watched for cheaper? Definitely. But the relatively minor cost premium is more than made up for by my pride of ownership (and the fact that I could customize it exactly how I wanted).
Interestingly, the NH35 movement in this thing has been CRAZY accurate, typically only gaining 5 seconds per week. I have no idea how I got so lucky, but I'll take it!
