I've had my eye on a few Edifice models over the years, but only bought one last week. I knew that it would be a good value, due to Casio's overall standards - my Oceanus ๐ is one of my favorite-ever pieces - but I'm still a little more impressed than I was anticipating.
Very clean finishing, with crisp separation between surfaces. Not just for it's price tier, but in comparison to some in higher ones. The seconds hand is well-aligned, although I've basically stopped worrying about it with Casios: they consistently get this QC element close to perfect. Even the faux solid links are impressively executed!
I got the blue dial, but if you don't have a weirdly large selection of green-dial watches like I do, you might consider that version. It's probably the best variant.

Can't but agree with your post, love this model out of Casio. While the blue you have is a beaut, I indeed went green, and couldn't be happier!
Good choice, edifice is a pretty underrated line tbh
The EFRs are currently my favorites Casios. They wear so well, way above their cost. Working on the blue color way.
How are the bracelet and clasp on these? Pretty much impossible to see one in person before buying
By โfaux solid end links,โ do you mean hollow end links? Or am I missing something?

Ha ha, I meant "solid links" but added "end" by accident. I was referring to the folded bracelet links, which are well disguised.
The end links are just standard cheapo hollow numbers, yes.
EDIT: edited.

Looks dope!

The bracelet and clasp happen to be where most of the money was saved. Things are lightweight and jangly, and the finishing is slightly "fuzzier" than the case. And there's also a dreaded pressed clasp assembly.
That said, it's an excellent cheap bracelet as such things go. Feels fine on wrist, nicely proportioned, and you can't tell the links are folded unless you've got them detached for sizing. I would say it's actually a great example of how to execute budget-conscious design in a way that shows significant regard for the person using that item.

I feel ya, when I find something that really works for me I will definitely stock up!

Thanks for the thoughtful reply. Appreciate the info. They look like great watches ๐

Yeah, my experience of Casio's side-brands so far has been phenomenal. The impression is that there's a genuine drive to offer high value for the dollar, but with the user's aesthetic enjoyment always the overriding focus.
I have the black dial version. They're a cool watch for sure.
