Added a 70’s Seiko to the collection
Just picked up this 1975 Seiko 5 on eBay. Fell in love with the black dial with grid pattern and the gold highlights and pop of red on the second hand. Runs like a champ, only issue is the bracelet is non original and flimsy as hell. Thinking a dark strap with a pop of gold or red might go nicely.

Love the look of the watch. You are correct about the bracelet. A dark strap would go perfectly. One thing about 70's design on everything was color. Perfect color by Seiko. The black dial with gold is very nice!

Old Seiko's are amazing. Yours is a banger. Lots of strap ideas come to mind.
These past models arent as old but their sharp looks shows how good Seikos were back then.

Its nice to have diff choices that are easy to swap out. Barton is my fave strap company, this dark leather with red stitching is nice and affordable https://www.bartonwatchbands.com/products/black-red-stitch-racing-horween-leather or to keep the retro look a beads of rice is a nice look.
