Probably due to abuse, the crown on this watch needs a tool to pry it out but despite neglecting it for a while, it feels special again being the first automatic watch I bought.

Back in 2017 I didn’t know much and even had to bring it back to swatch to ask why the date only changed at noon and finally learned how to properly set the date.

Inspired to put this back on after seeing @alfredo ‘s WRUW post featuring his 1984 reissue today

Your watch possibly came from the Swatch Originals collection. The Sistem51 movement has six distinct "points" so Swatch leaned into that feature by placing six red dots resembling a star chart on a variety of dials though I've never seen your exact version before. It is maybe from around 2013 though I am just a casual Swatch nerd and may be wrong.

It’s a collaboration between Hodinkee and swatch back in 2017 that I lucked out on grabbing from the Times Square location!

Thanks for expanding my limited knowledge. I think the first red dot dials came out a few years before but the collab was off of my radar screen. Nice pick up!
