Ever heard of Alfex?
Hi folks, let me show you this Alfex 5586-608.
My grandfather bought me this watch some 20 years ago. Back then I was a teenager and knew nothing about watches, but I wore it every single day.
I recently got into the hobby, but I started buying various other brands and I forgot about this watch. I remembered that I had this watch somewhere, and I managed to find it. I cleaned the watch because it was in poor condition, all it now needs is a battery change.
It's a Swiss made watch that uses a swiss movt - the ronda 5040b. It has a sapphire crystal, 42mm case, 14mm thick, and a big heavy bracelet. The bracelet, and case are made out of stainless steel. The dial is bordeaux red which is a nice touch, it also has a screw down crown and it's 100m water resistant. Brand new the watch was around 500€ I think.
I am not sure but I was unable to find this watches anywhere so I think the company that was putting their name on the watches got extinct, and that's why I'm sharing it here.
IMO it's not a very nice/pretty watch, but IRL it looks very "manly" because it is big, thick, and it's quite heavy.
What do you guys think? Let me know if anyone has any info about the company that made the watch?

Yes me nither. I think that some other swiss company produced the watch, and alfex only put their logo on it. Or its some weird micro brand. Anyway, I cant find any other watches from this manufacturer. And the specs are quite decent, its a legit swiss watch
