Found in a thrift shop for only $10. I used image search to find info on it but could only really find the name. Does anyone have interesting info on this watch? Movement is engraved with "ETA 2842" (NOT the seemingly more popular 2824). Maybe some of yall swatch experts can help me bc I'm so curious as to what I bought.

The best part is that the movement, a low grade ETA, is easily serviced.

About how much would it cost if I wanted to get it serviced?

On par with something fairly modern from Tissot, hamilton etc. I think Swatch won't do it, but any indie watchmaker shouldn't have a problem.

Do you know any other watches this movement has been used in? I could only find info for the 2824

Can't off the top of my head remember which ETA it was in my plastic auto Swatch. You can see the caliber number next to the balance.
