The Hamilton American Classic Pan-Europ was introduced as a chronograph over 50 years ago and revived recently as a 3 hand day-date version. I loved the chrono when it was first available but I was a poor student who couldn't afford it. So when it was reintroduced I didn't hesitate. Added a red leather strap matching the color of the second hand to replace the stock black rally strap that I felt was somewhat out of character. It keeps excellent time and with a claimed 80 hour power reserve it runs for days when it's not on my wrist.
