A Hamilton Pan-Europ Day-Date Auto. A three hand model with a design based on a chronograph introduced about 50 years ago. Can't explain the eccentric spelling of "Europ" but the red/white/blue colorway suggests both the US and the French flags. A replacement crimson leather strap (not seen) reinforces the combined colorway. Extremely accurate with an 80 hour power reserve. The photo is from last May when 7AM was lit by the sun. It will be a few months before that happens again.

It is a beautiful watch (imo). I was a poor graduate student many years ago when the original Pan-Europ chronograph was introduced and my watch budget topped out at a choice among Timex models. It remained a grail for many years. I love the looks of the watch. The only negative (imo) was the black leather rally strap that came with the watch. The crimson leather strap from Barton that I replaced it with is better suited to the style of the watch.
