Lovely watch on a lovely-sounding morning. I’m in need of a break from Southern California, and would love a touch of PNW gloom right about now!

Spent several years as a kid in San Diego and as an adult about 10 years in the Bay Area. Have to admit that around early March when the sun hasn't been sighted for a month or two here on the Puget Sound I sometimes long for those sunnier climes. But that's a rare reaction. Mostly I love the wet winters that guarantee Washington remains the "Evergreen" year round. And even in the dead of winter there are days that Mt. Rainier suddenly appears through my living room window. And that makes living here totally worthwhile.

Having lived through several western Washington winters, I do remember that occasional late winter sense of oppression! Now my parents live on Vashon, so I get to look forward to visiting them and getting doses of that delightful weather...and then jetting back to LA long before I need to plug in one of those daylight spectrum lamps!
