For Tortoise Tuesday. The Seiko SRPG17 field watch is nicknamed the "Tortoise" for its similarity to the Seiko "Turtle" dive watch. Rather than a bezel to time a dive, its bezel can be used as a roughly accurate compass in some circumstances. This particular example keeps excellent time, gaining only about 3 seconds a day. The strap is a suede leather replacement in a "gingerbread" shade. Very comfortable and a better match to the Tortoise colorway than the original black fabric band.
