Nivada Grenchen chronograph thoughts??

I’m finding myself being drawn to chronographs of recent months, mainly vintage ones under the umbrella of chronographie suisse. Then I came across this! Wow! That tropical dial is just a thing of beauty… BUT.. have any fellow crunchers owned or currently own one? Always great to dig abit on another’s experience, although I must say I think it’s a GO for me!

Love mine. Vintage charm without the drawbacks. Great compact size. Keeps time very well. Smooth to wind up.

Everything I needed to hear! Thankyou🤝you own one with the same dial?

I forgot to mention that the fit and finish is very good. The BoR bracelet is fine (it’s not Doxa), but like the clasp on the famous Sinn H-Link, it could use a reworking. Just wanted to mention that in case the BoR was an option you were considering.

I have a few NGs and wouldn’t hesitate to get another. 👍

No, I have a white and black dial.

Hi John, I currently own this Nivada Grenchen chrono, a Nivada Grenchen Antarctic Diver and vintage Nivada Aquamar diver. Suffice to say, I am a huge Nivada Grenchen fan and plan to bring more of their pieces into my collection. I highly recommend the chrono, which is well made and high quality, gorgeous to look at and wears very comfortably at 38mm on my 6.5 inch wrist. Image was taken at the London Watch Fair a few weeks ago, hence the blue wrist band. Happy to answer any questions you may have about the chrono.

I love the look of Nevada Grenchen, but be warned, they wear very small because they are usually creating an older Vintage model & that’s when smaller was in Vogue.

PS The customer service are all out of Asia (Hong Kong) now. I posted a nightmare story a while back about their customer service with my order. Everything is assembled and ships from HK. That being said they’re built quality is very good.

One other thing go with a cheaper model first, before getting one of the mechanicals it’ll cost you about 2/3 less but it’s gonna be in the same size range as the rest of the line. As I stated before, they ware very small.

I have a late 1960s Chronomaster branded as a Austin Premier. It's a survivor that's had some wear & tear but it's one of my favourite watches. Very nice Valjoux 23 movement inside which now runs great since it's been serviced. These do wear a bit small but they aren't tiny & the new ones are thicker so probably wear a bit bigger

You think so and I have pretty small hands, Just saying.

Weird. Mine was shipped from Switzerland. I was going to send one back to have a crown checked out (under warranty), and when they gave me the shipping address, it was also Switzerland. I wonder if it’s dependent on something?

This particular watch was available only for like a month. It’s shows as sold out on their . Originally they were just gonna have Limited edition to 100 pieces. But because of such strong interest decided to have a six week ordering window. After that, no more orders or any more of the same watch. I ordered literally in the first couple hours because I wanted to low number under 100. I also added a specific metal bracelet along with it. Three months later when they’re ready to ship, they told me they didn’t have the bracelet I wanted. But I didn’t care because I knew that I was gonna get that number. Then when I received it with the bait and switch bracelet, and a number of almost 300…….. I was a little pissed! Not the small stature of the watch, which just added insult to injury. Originally the people that were taking the orders were Swiss. Then they handed you off to the guys in Hong Kong after they got your pre-order💰. 😤

Does anyone know when the titanium f77 is coming out and what color dial? Seems customer response only knows how to spam me with wrong email
