Retired for the season
Well... Last night marked the end of my hometown hockey team's season... Time to put away the blue #mapleleafs watch for the summer. 😭
Lost last night in a hard forgot game 2-1 in Overtime 😞.
It ended on a really great play by the Boston Bruins (not much Toronto could do in my opinion) and they will head on to round 2!

I went to primary school with Dougie & Freddie Hamilton.
I was secretly rooting for Dougie when he was playing for Boston during that fateful game 7 in 2013 where the Leafs gave up their lead and Boston won.
This was a much closer game & no Dougie to cheer for this time around.

Agreed, Toronto finally found a way to catch up to Boston... 💪🏼🏒🥅🚨
We didn't even come close to beating them in the regular season; so the fact we hung with them to OT in game 7 is aight by me lol 😌
That's what hockey is all about! Hard fought but tremendous respect (usually) lol.
