Baltany: new white-dial 36mm dirty dozen automatic

I saw this pop up in an email from watchdives (not affiliated.)  I'm guessing it's very new as I don't see it listed on the actual Baltany website.  The dial looks really nice in photos.  I don't suppose anyone has one yet?  I'm wondering if it looks cheap in person.

Reviews of other Baltray watches seem ok. For the price I'm sure they're OK. They also have a 10 dollar coupon code.

So far the main QC issues I've had with Chinese watches is gritty & misaligned dive bezels and wonky applied markers on the dial.  The watch sidesteps both of those.  I've now got one on order, so I'll report back with some dial close-ups.

Not appealing to me and havent heard of the brand. Look forward to your impressions.

It showed up today.  My initial impression is positive.  Here's some video of the dial, sorry the phone picked a bad color temperatures, making things look orange.  But the dial has a  nice mild sparkle too it, so it doesn't look like a plastic countertop in person. :)

Hey, I also just discovered this watch and was looking for exactly this question. Are you happy with it in the end? Does the dial look cheap in person? Tell me more please :)

I still have and like the watch. I don't think the dial looks cheap, and it's unique. I think the main thing some folks won't like is that you can sometimes hear/feel the winding rotor, but that doesn't bother me at all. My main complaint would be that in some lighting conditions, the hands are hard to see against the dial. But others they stand out fine, so not a big deal.

Hey, one more question. Did you swap out the strap for anything else? I'm wondering what else it might look good on. Thank you again in advance!

I'm still using the stock leather strap. It would probably look good on a nato, but I find them uncomfortable. Rubber straps seem wrong for this style of watch IMHO.
