I love the Sinn 103 but, frankly, I don't see that I will ever have the wherewithal to purchase one (new or used). The market is filled with lookalikes for Rolexes and such, but I have yet to see an homage to the 103 (with the exception of a limited edition from 15 or so years ago). I'm relatively new to the hobby so I am really hoping that someone more experienced than me can prove me wrong. Any thoughts?
PS: Looking in the sub-$1000 USD price range.

You can try this one from Revue, similar looks and same ETA 7750 for under $1000, not too bad.

WatchCrunch hive mind strikes again and even an automatic version. Count me as super impressed.

I was surprised how few here actually are, but any 7750 under 1K is not bad.
If its the german you want check out some of the other german companies like Archimede. I think you can find something you will be happy with and stay within or very close to your target budget.
