It's Cuervo (Raven) y Sobrinos, not Cuero (Leather). They were watchmakers and importers catering to locals and visitors in pre-Castro Cuba. They were also a well-respected brand in my former home region of Spain, the Canary Islands, due to the historical ties between these islands and Cuba. The revived brand is Swiss made, but has a very distinctive style with often oversized lugs and names referencing it's Caribbean past.
Great watch. @drcarter13 turned me on to Cuervo y Sobrinos. They are on my short list. Problem is my short list isn't very short.
Love the brand and it's history. Their watches are simply beautiful and there is something for everyone. I would encourage anyone looking for something unique to check them out.
