Olongapo watch band
I just found out about the Olongapo watchbands. Subic bay American Navy personal getting their metal watchbands there. As I am not Navy, or even American I am playing with the idea of one made to order. Bit of fun. Star Wars style.
On one side a X-Wing, and on the other side Rebel Alliance or Red Leader Squadron. Just popped a version on my mind of 2 crossed Lightsabres and a Jedi insignia..
Your thoughts as avid watch nerds is appreciated.

I have one with my old unit insignia on it. I wear it only on divers. Don’t think it’d work on anything else. It’s fairly comfortable. Not everyone’s cuppa, though.

Your idea is great! I'd do something similar, but also have the band engraved with a pattern reminiscent of the hull of like the Falcon or another ship.
Inscription on inside... "Do... or Do Not. There Is No Try."

Went through a course with a Chief who had one on his marathon. Looked awesome. I've debated for awhile getting one, don't know how long it would take to get here.

I’m in Philippines coming January. So if I order I would ship it to my family there. Understand they make the insignia themselves. It’s not like they buy some lapel pins and solder it on to the bracelet.

Yeah, I contacted Mr. Jurado himself. He’s one of the only people still making them. We sent a few e-mails back and forth, discussing all the details. Turnaround was a few months, if I remember correctly.
