I prefer no date or a date on 6 clock , but at least in the Alpine Eagle the date matches the color of the dial so in person it blends in.

Lovely watch, I had a few in front of me and went with the GP green dial but chopard is also is a solid choice. Enjoy.
I love the way the blue hands & indices pop against the salmon dial.
