Sinn 356 Sa Pilot II + straps

Hey everyone.

I just picked this up the other day... after months of searching for one. I am going to add to the WatchCrunch content by adding pics of strap combos to my new watch as they come.

Here it is right from the AD.

Fantastic!

Beautiful watch.  I have been looking at that myself and reading lots of reviews.   How is the salmon/copper dial in the flesh???

Beautiful watch.  I have been looking at that myself and reading lots of reviews.   How is the salmon/copper dial in the flesh???

Thanks! It is as nice... or nicer in person. I had an MB Salmon dial Heritage before this. I can judge the two against each other. Firstly, I am colorblind... so take this with a grain of salt. But the MB salmon maybe was a little redder/pinker. But the dial was much less dynamic. With the guilloche and concentric circles plus the salmony-coppery color, this is a slam dunk winner. I was out for dinner last night with a couple of friends, and one of them that doesn't know my love of watches commented how much she loved the pink/salmony watch I was wearing. So in person, others see the pinkish hue, not just copper.

Also, for me personally, the MB was too much of a dress watch and I am not really a dress watch kind of guy. This is toolish and mil, but can still pull off that night on the town look too.

And if we are talking about "in person" feels from the dial, the DAY/DATE is very legible. I wear reading glasses, and when I am not wearing them, I sometimes struggle to read the date on some of my watches. Not this one. Very legible without my glasses... which is a bonus.

Beauty, How do you like the size?

·

Size is great. I have a 19cm wrist. It feels "right". It is tall, but between the curve of the bottom of the watch plus the curved sapphire, it really hugs the wrist and hides a couple mm.
