My Watch Collection(15 Dec 2023)- Where to go from here?

Hello fellow watch enthusiasts!

I’m excited to share my journey into the world of watches with you all. Attached is a photo of my current collection, which I’ve grown with a focus on affordability and variety.

As I look to the next chapter, I’m contemplating whether to explore slightly more upscale brands like Christopher Ward, Oris, or Nomos, or to delve into the homage segment with brands like San Martin. My goal is to add more unique pieces to my collection.

I’d greatly appreciate any suggestions or advice on which direction to take. Are there specific models or brands you think I should consider next? Any unique finds you’ve encountered in your own collecting journey?

Looking forward to your insights and recommendations!

That all depends upon your budget. I suggest stepping up to a Hamilton or a Christopher Ward for your next watch.

Gotta' fill up those two empty slots!

BTW, cost wise, CW-Oris-Nomos, from least to most.

In my opinion, if you want a vintage watch that you really really like but can't afford, only then you should go to the homage section(it doesn't look good with morden watch imo), otherwise, yk that CW is killing it rn 😁☺️

Enjoy what you have bro!

I avoid microbrands and homages because as you upgrade your collection those are much harder to sell than more mainstream brands.

CW & Oris are excellent value and higher quality - dunno about Nomos as I've never seen one IRL.

Yep. That’s what I thought. Hamilton is already part of my collection. So leaning towards Christopher ward. But they have so many gr8 ones. It’s difficult to choose.😅

Ya makes sense. San Martin is doing gr8 though. It alaways feels like u could get a BB58 or aqua terra inspired homage for the cheap. I understand it’s not as goood as the real deal. But I cannot afford the real deal. 🥲

Makes sense. It’s just short term satisfaction. I will probably hold out for a CW.
