PSA: At full MSRP, this costs only $90 more than the Snoopy MoonSwatch, but any Seiko AD will sell it to you for about $10 less than the MoonSwatch without an ask. On the 2nd-hand market, the Seiko will cost you less than half of what flippers are charging. Price and hype delta aside, the Seiko isn't made of plastic, it has an easily serviceable automatic movement, it's not disposable, the crown won't snap off in your fingers, you can swim with it, its factory calfskin strap (not shown here) won't tear apart under normal use, and the caseback printing won't transfer to your skin. I also have a feeling that while the MoonSwatch is the more "valuable" watch at this moment, the Seiko Snoopy will be something of a sleeper and surpass the Swatch in value and collectibility over the years, if for no other reason than the fact that the Seiko will still actually work and not crumble in your hands when you try to wear it. That said, buy what you love ;)
