Aside from the watches I've gotten as gifts and thus can't sell for sentimental reasons, this might be my one "forever watch." I think the community slept on this one for sure. Everyone reacted with their usual "who would pay that for a Seiko" when they should have been looking at the overall quality—from the grade of steel to the finishing to the hand-built movement—and realizing this cost thousands less than the Swiss watches it actually competes with.
I totally agree. I started out wanting a smaller Seiko diver for my small wrist and found this model on the YouTube. Like you said, the finishing is top notch. The steel is above whatever is at the price range. It is definitely a keeper.
