Hard case as a watch box

Any pitfalls to be aware of as am thinking of getting a hard camera case for storing watches.

Go for it. A lot if guys use Pelican style cases to store their collections. I was just looking at one the other day.

No pitfalls. More secure, but you can't see them thru glass top. There are specific watch hard cases available.

Looking at a hard case with pluck and pick foam as watch case foams are not common at my place. These foams won’t scratch the watches right?
