New York, New Yorrrrrrrrkkkkk!

Hello Crunchers!

The wife and I are having a week in New York for her birthday! First visit for me. I’m taking the Lorier back from whence it came, the Hamilton for day to day activities and the Sugess just cos it’s my favourite! Also keeping a space for maybe picking something up!

Question…

Where is a good place to pick up a bargain watch, either new or pre owned in NY??? Areas and exact shops would be great!!!!

Peace and love!!!!

The diamond district is 47th btw 5th and 6th. Grey market dealers of pre owned luxury brands. U might find some deals if you spend time walking through all the exchanges. It’s an experience

47th street is full of hustlers, buyer beware and don't trust anybody in the diamond district they will take you for anything they can get. That said there's a lot of stuff in the diamond district so it might be fun to walk around and see the variety.

I don't have any watch recommendations in NYC, there's a watch shop in Grand Central Station that's kind of neat. Canal Street random strangers selling fake watches on the street is mildly entertaining. There's big chains like Bucherer on 34th, various watch boutiques (swatch, Tudor, tissot, Richard mille blah blah blah) all have boutiques so to some extent it's a choose your own adventure depending on what you're interested in seeing

Might have to take a couple of hours to check this out. Many thanks!
