Farer CAYLEY AZUL

Recently got to handle this Farer watch. Having looked at this one online I noticed there is relatively little review content. Looks big, wears small as many pilot watches seem to. The crown is lovely and has an inset bronze/copper logo (not pictured). The seconds hand has a lovely arrow skeletonized that is a nice detail. The outer bezel has two different colors for the minutes, though I might have inverted them to be more like an attitude indicator. The bezel sits above the dial and is a different material altogether. The markers at 12/3/6/9 are physical (maybe another subdial coming through? This forms a line where the bezel is cut away (pictured) which helps them stand out. The printed markers on the dial are impressively crisp. That base dial has a sector marking and shines under the light a deep dark blue. I had a few chances to sit with the watch and found it quite nice, though I am not very experienced with watches at this price point. Would a Bremont feel much different for 3x the price? Certainly close to an Oris or Longines in terms of luxury impression for me. Would like to know how it compares to a Christopher Ward. When handing around the watch people seem to enjoy that they only notice the california dial after it is pointed out to them. Since in hand reviews of this watch are scarce thought I would share.

Love a Cali dial & this is certainly on my radar.

Yes there's a difference between tiers, but it's the law of diminishing returns, so it's more about subtle refinement (& brand) than any massively noticeable change in quality. (Until you get to the movements )
