My wife has a Gshock GMA-B800, and unlike the painted surface of most Gshocks, it has a vinyl eraser feel. Does anyone have any experience or recommendations about deep cleaning?

Might be time to replace 😳
I use warm water and a toothbrush (soft bristle) with some simple green. Works great.
Throw it in the washer machine on your next laundry load. Just put it in a sock to protect the watch. I've clean several G-Shock's this way and it always works.
