Elastic French parachutist Strap or FKM rubber

I got excited a couple of years back and ended up paying something around 90 to a 100$ for this rubber strap, this was before finding out that there are always cheaper solutions out there. Today I hate the rubber strap on my Pluto it’s the amount at which I had purchased it that leaves a bitter taste in my mouth and I much prefer the ease and convenience of the elastic nylon strap that I got for something like 2$
