Crafter Blue on a Maratac

They say a different strap will give a watch a new lease on life. Not only is this true, but the same can be said for almost anything you choose to adorn yourself with.

Up on deck is a Maratac Titanium DC-50 automatic which originally came with a grade 5 titanium brontosaurus bracelet which I promptly replaced with an XL 22mm Hirsch Accent Premium Caoutchouc. Excellent strap, but as of late I've been crushing on Crafter Blue and decided to go with their diver option pictured here.

The Crafter Blue is light and much more pliant than the Hirsch. Not knocking the Hirsch by any means, but due to how light and large this watch already is, I needed something that will breath well in warmer weather. Funny how the Crafter Blue is every bit the equal of the Hirsch in quality but cost half the money. Such as it is in this hobby.

I had a Crafter Blue strap once (gave the watch + strap to a good friend) and we both agreed that the quality and comfort is absolutely fantastic!

*for the life of me I can’t find a pic lol
